Canda Post Strikes Affect Shipped Orders: Our policy for Refunds
Unfortunately, like many US retailers that ship to Canada, we're now part of the fallout caused by the recent Canada Post strike that began on November 15. We only learned of the strike on the 25th, which means that shipments over the past 10 days are affected.
When incidents outside of our control occur, many will still turn to us for a solution. As you know, we had already shipped the order, and paid the postage due. It is only because of the Canada Post strike that your shipment is not yet delivered.
It is here that we ask for customers to adhere to our international shipping policies, explained here:
Specificially:
International shipments: We ask to wait 20 days after the last tracking checkpoint.
Example: USPS or FedEx international tracking hasn't changed in 10 days since your last update on May 5 - please wait until May 25.
We will not honor requests to refund before 20 days. Chargebacks will result in your account getting blacklisted, and thus no longer able to purchase from focusattack.com under your current account.
USPS Temporarily Not an Option for Candadian Customers
Until the strike ends, only FedEx International Priority and Economy is available.
We're hopeful that the strike will end in time, and we can resume shipping via the most economical means for our Candadian customers. Until then, we will keep a close watch on developments.
