Thanks again to you and other players for making FA one of the great places to shop for arcade entertainment in 2018. Like most of you, our staff is getting ready to celebrate the holidays with family and friends. I'm here to explain our shipping schedule early next week, plus a bit of information on our inventory restock schedule and a note about FA Rewards:
Monday and Tuesday - New Years Eve and New Year's Day
Staff is working Monday, December 31 and will ship as many orders from December 28-30 as time allows that day. Staff is off New Years Day as most USPS will not ship on a national holiday. We will resume shipping on Wednesday, January 2.
FA Rewards Status
Thanks to you and others that participate in FA Rewards. Over the past month, we noticed that the Rewards redemption service we used has become unreliable, with server issues that have rendered the program unusable. While I've managed to request restarts to the server, the customer service of the company is nonresponsive at best, and does not at all reflect the kind of experience we want to provide our customers.
Many weeks ago, I have asked their support team for a list of active rewards members and balances, but did not receive a response. At the moment, the server is down for its fourth time, and we began looking for alternative services.
In early January, I will have an announcement when the new Rewards service is active, and what reparations we will attempt to make for those with outstanding rewards balances. Because the service is currently down and rewards support is unresponsive, we do not yet have a record of active members and available balances. What I intend to do is - on a case by case basis - review FA Reward customer inquiries. We will assess your account's order transactions over the past year, and issue reward points under the new system on the original (non-promo) tier:
- 180 Gold Chips = $20
- 160 Gold Chips = $15
- 120 Gold Chips= $10
- 80 Gold Chips = $5
All blue chips are removed; because the original rewards server is offline we have no record of customer activity. Note that any coupon codes that were redeemed in 2018 will count against the total chips available, based on the value of the code used.
The new system will have a different points accumulation system. There will be no separate points for activity that lowers your requirements, and the point tiers are higher to reflect the combination. That said, we'll have a fairly robust system that allows you to gain new points in many ways.
We will work as diligently as possible to address any inquiries or concerns. In the meantime, if you have question about your FA Rewards account, please send a message to email@example.com, or click the "Help" Icon on our website.
