Q: I was wondering if there was a way to modify my stick to work on a PS4 without the Brook SuperConverter so I don't have to carry around more items. I noticed there's a Brook PCB board but I'm unsure if that'll work for my situation. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
A: You can use a Brook PS4+ Audio, Universal Fighting Board or IST Brook board kit. When connecting your existing panel buttons for home and other buttons in that panel, simply find the wire on the panel for that button and trace the wire to cut from the original pcb and attach it to the new board of your choice. We offer harnesses for making the swap a little more easier. Please let me know if you need any additional assistance with making this mod possible. I attached a pic of the method described but with an older aftermarket PCB. I might have the wrong model and it might require you dremmel off a middle screw base. An alternate place if need be could be directly below where i mark the spot to drill for the port that might support it as well as long as your top panel wires have the length (you can splice in more length if need be. If thats the case, you can get some adhesive pcb feet we sell pretty cheap. If you need help remapping buttons along the top panel (if you're getting the L3/R3/Touch harness) let me know.
