309MJ-KMS and 309MJ-JMS: The Difference

Q: I see that Focus Attack has the Crown 309MJ listed as 309MJ-KMS. Is the KMS a typo, or is it different from the 309MJ-JMS? I can't find anything on KMS.

A: The KMS designation stands for "Korean Microswitch". Because the Crown levers now use Gersung switches instead of Panasonic, it has been changed to that designation to reflect the new microswitch set. The ST25 bit of the part number declares which tension grommet the lever is using, in this case, it is the ST25.
