Shipping Carrier Server Outages and Current Status

International Customers: USPS Int'l Shipping Disabled due to COVID-19 restrictions, FedEx available with Limitations

After receiving a number of reports from customers who found their shipments returned due to USPS delivery restrictions in country, we have decided to disable USPS International Shipping until further notice.

FedEx International Shipping will serve as an alternative carrier for those interested.

CARRIER STATUS | Q&A

The holidays can put pressure on shipping carriers both physically and digitally.  USPS.com, which dynamically sends real-time shipping quotes to hundreds of small business stores such as ours, can occasionally fail under this pressure.

You may see this issue occur during checkout, or when viewing your shopping cart and trying to estimate the shipping cost.  If only UPS or FedEx (domestic) or DHL (international, some exceptions are present) appears as a carrier, then the USPS server is down.

We're keeping this page active as a means for you to track this issue. To do this, we providing links to the status of shipping websites - starting with USPS.com using the service downtetector.com.

We thank you for your patience; it is frustrating for us as a retailer to have uncontrollable issues like this come up during key holiday seasons or throughout the year, but we hope this information will help you to detect when the servers aren't working as they should.

Questions and Answers

Q. Does this mean that I cannot place an order with focusattack.com?

A.  It is still possible to place an order with us.  However, the shipping options that are available may not be the most economical, depending on the available carrier.  We hope that using the downdetector.com site can help you determine if the shipping server is online or not.  It may help to wait at least 1 hour and try again.  The comments on downdetector.com are also a good way to indicate if the servers are back up.

Q. What can I do if I already placed a UPS-based shipping order with you, and didn't know about this problem?

A. You can always request to cancel your order by contacting orders@focusattack.com.  You will receive a refund via the payment method used.  Please allow up to 5 business days for the amount to be credited to your original account.  More information is available here.
