Q: I'm building an arcade stick and want to use the Zero Delay Encoder PCB set. They look very similar, which set should I be using?

A: This largely depends on the joystick lever you plan on using. The Japanese style kit has a connector specifically for connecting a 5-pin harness to a joystick lever of Sanwa or Seimitsu make, whereas the American style has wiring terminated with .187 connections meant for Suzo Happ or Industrias Lorenzo levers. Alternatively, the American style set may apply to you if you are using a Seimitsu or Crown lever that uses .187 connections.
