Is there a way to tell what lever the HSS-0136 arcade stick comes with?

Q: I am looking at buying a Sega Saturn HSS-0136 Virtua Stick. I've heard there are two different variants of this model, is there a way to tell what I am getting before I buy it?

A: The short answer is no - without having it physically in front of you (or a knowledgeable seller), you can't tell. They are identical on the outside, but a tell would be the feel of the lever.
