All non-custom order dustwashers and BNB Gen 2 & 3 Kits come wrapped inside either a translucent or blue plastic film. It can also come in a tan film made of paper.
Okay...How do you Get This Film off the Plexi, Then?
Please use your fingernail to peel the film or backing from both sides of the acrylic. It should peel in strips, or in some cases, clear off in one go. It's designed to temporarily ahere to the acrylic material like a static cling, so that no gaps form. The paper version may be a bit more stubborn than firm and can tear in spots, but this will not affect the actual plexi itself.
This is Rather Confusing! Why Do You Do This?
Over the years, we found that the paper backing provided by the manufacturer typically offers the best protection against scrapes, scratches and dust that would otherwise get onto the plexi during transport. This is why we leave the material on when packaging.
