How to Create a Return Request (RMA)

  1. Log in to your account.  If you forgot your password, you can reset it.
  2. View the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu
  3. Click the Return Item(s) button.  
  4. Choose which items you would like to return, and their quantity, from the list of items in that order. 
  5. Scroll towards the bottom and complete the section under "Why are you returning these items?"
  6. Click "Submit Return request"

You will receive a confirmation email when the return request is made.

When the return is authorized, you will receive a follow-up email with instructions to return the items.  To find your Return ID (RMA), log in to your account, and click "Returns" under "My Account".  The RMA is a 2, 3 or 4 digit number.

Steps to Ship Your RMA Items

IMPORTANT:

Do not return your items without first sending an RMA request and getting it authorized by our Team. Failure to request an RMA or sending before it is approved will result in a 20% restocking fee deducted from your refund. Frequent violations or chargeback threats will result in account suspension.

Once you receive a Return Authorization from Focus Attack Customer Service, you must perform the following steps to receive proper credit for the return:

  1. Securely re-pack your merchandise.  You can use the original packaging and shipping box, or alternative materials.
  2. It is recommended that you insure your package for the full value of the merchandise bring returned, in case the shipment is lost during transit.  
  3. Ship your returned item to:

  4. Check your email. We will notify you once your return has been processed.

How Long Does it Take to Receive My Refund or Store Credit?

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases, you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (typically 5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you instead request store credit, the time is decreased.

What Can Affect the Value of my Refund?

All free included items associated with the product must be returned

Please note that any order containing free included items such as wires or cables that are packed with the parent items  must also be returned in full with the associated purchase. For example, our 30mm Button RGB LED 8 Pak for GP2040-CE includes a choice of 6 or 12 inch extension/starter cable for free. That must be included with the shipment. Failure to include those items will be charged the value of that item if it is also sold separately on out website.

Modifications to the original item will affect refund value or may require store credit instead

Any modifications made to an item and then returned to Focusattack.com within the 30-day period is subject to inspection before we remit store credit or refund.

Modifications would include physical alterations, noticeable scratching and nicks, twisting of contacts, appearance of welding or artifacts on metal contacts, or returned to us disassembled. All items are deemed in "new" condition unless specified in the product description. 

If the items are returned in a condition unfit for resale (ie opened or torn product box, parts removed or missing, cables or cords cut or extended, malfunctioning, etc. then you will receive store credit for the purchase price minus a 20% restocking fee. 

What about my Original Shipping Costs? What about the cost to Ship it Back?

Our Store Policy

Any shipping and handling charges related to RMAs in which the customer wishes to return the item are NON-REFUNDABLE. 

Exceptions

If a product is assessed by our technical team as defective or damaged and cannot be replaced, then shipping charges are refundable. 

Can I Return items I Purchased in Clearance/Garage Sale?

Items that are sold in clearance are not subject to returns. Refunds or store credit is issued only if the clearance item is deemed defective by our technical team, or or damaged and cannot be replaced.
