We normally ask for at least 1-2 business days (does not include weekends) to process an order, as it becomes part of a queue. Occasionally during large sale events, fulfillment time can take longer due to a higher-than-usual order quantity. Delays can also occur on holidays in which staff is not available, and/or the post office is not in service. Here is a list of USPS non-service holidays, in which FA staff are not present.
On normal occurrences, Most non-custom orders placed Monday-Friday can ship same day if ordered before 1pm US EST. Orders placed Monday-Thursday after 1pm EST could ship next day. Shipping notifications are issued during the evening. We are closed during weekends and national holidays. Orders placed during weekends will begin to ship Monday; orders placed during a national holiday will begin to ship the next business day.
If you are placing an FA Plexworks custom order, we ask for 7-10 business days to process, as these orders require special treatment to complete, pack and ship. Orders with custom artwork will not ship until the custom job is completed. More information is available here.
Finally, some orders that have a product that is on backorder, occasionally created by a discrepancy in physical inventory, an order may see delay in fulfillment. We will inform you of any fulfillment issues by email, asking if you would like to ship the remaining order now and receive the missing piece later (USA only), wait for the item to return to stock, or ship now and refund the missing item.
