While processing custom artwork and plexi services, our staff will include notes for both other staff and customers. These will appear in the Custom Job Tracker, and viewed by entering your order ID (ie: 123456).
To facilitate submitting custom artwork, we provide helpful control panel templates for you to use. Submitting these helps us position the artwork cuts exactly where you want it.
When a submission does not have a template, we will add the following note: "Warning: Template not provided".
Please note that this does NOT prevent your artwork from printing, but without a template, you waive your right to request a correction due to improper printing. Due to time constraints to ask each customer to send a correction, orders with warning notices will not qualify for HOLD status.
Additional Warning Notes
A warning message may also have additional notes, such as:
- Artwork dimensions do not match fightstick model and may be cropped/flipped/resized - this means that the artwork you sent us may not match the layout dimensions of the desired Fightstick; we may have to reposition, crop or resize the image to make it fit.
- Low resolution | Very Low Resolution - artwork that doesn't have enough pixel density to print without the artwork appearing pixellated or low quality when printed. We cover this topic in detail in our knowledge base article Screen Versus Print - A Helpful Guide.
Similar warning messages
- Warning: Non FA Template - a template was used, but from another vendor, and may not match our internal templates positioning. We highly recommend that you use our templates instead. They are available for download in the very listing you visited when placing an order, and here as well: Control Panel Templates
- Warning: No overprint - artwork does not contain a "bleed", which may affect its presentation when cut to shape. We explain why we need this in our article Tips on Submitting Control Panel Print and Cut Artwork.
Warning Versus HOLD Status
Please note that this does NOT prevent your artwork from printing, but without a template, you waive your right to request a correction due to improper printing.
Due to time constraints to ask each customer to send a correction, orders with warning notices will not qualify for HOLD status. To keep up with the custom order queue under these circumstances, designers must use their best judgement to position, crop, or resize the artwork to match the Fightstick or other product we're printing upon. Therefore, we will print them in our regular schedule if no corrections are provided. No refunds are offered for these prints.
